Sectional Renovation
Sectional renovation is the repair of individual damages.
It is not uncommon that a seal is forgotten during the construction phase or that a pipe is damaged during earthworks, for example. The result is local damage to an otherwise intact pipe.
To restore the tightness and statics of the pipe, a short liner or mat can be placed at this point. To do this, the resin-impregnated textile is inserted into the pipe through an inlet by means of an inflatable rubber bladder (packer) and pressed against the pipe wall in the area of the damaged spot until the resin has cured. The damage is repaired – without any digging.
One of the most common types of damage in sewer rehabilitation are leaking branches and inlets. In the area of buried pipes, the causes are earth movements, high static loads or improper connection of the inlet pipes. Defective connecting pieces are also a frequent problem inside buildings. Here, leaking wastewater often leads to wet walls, unpleasant odors and mold growth. lineTEC offers rehabilitation systems for connection pipes from DN 70 to DN 200.
